What’s the difference between Free and Private tours?

Free tours run on specific schedules and dates and are solely tip-based. Tips and donations, if any, are an exclusive decision of our guests. They are based on our Classic Walk, which aims to provide independent travellers with a general insight about Amsterdam.
The private tours are usually customised regarding contents, schedules, etc. They run at any date or schedule, are paid under arrangement, and are designed for independent travellers or groups that would like to discover Amsterdam at their own pace or wish for specific touring services.

How long do tours last?

Our minimum tour duration is 2h and our standard tours last  2-3 hours. Private tours can be customised up to 8h.

Do I need to make a reservation for the free tours?

Our high-quality service is directly dependant on the small sizes of our groups (max. 15-20 participants). Therefore, reserving in advance is highly recommended. You can always just show up at the time and place indicated on the schedule.
